Students seeking admission in Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture programmes at RIT need to clear KEA/COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) entrance exam. However, the eligibility criteria for enrolment in BE program at RIT is securing at least 45% in 10+2 examinations with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects. In addition, students should have passed 10+2 exams with 50% in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, apart from securing 50% in aggregate at the 10+2 level.
